Steve Peifer
American missionary Steve Peifer has established a free lunch program that feeds over 10,000 students at 25 of the poorest Kenyan schools outside Nairobi. He also has built six solar-powered computer labs which will enable these children to learn needed computer skills to find jobs and forge paths out of poverty.

Guidelines for submitting your story to www.hotchocolateforthespirit.com:

1. The story should be true. We are on a mission to create a community of people who are experiencing physical and/or emotional pain. Therefore, the stories submitted to us must be true so that other people can benefit, get inspired and/or learn from your experience; or give you useful advice.
2. It should be no longer than 2 pages.
3. Please take the time to write to the best of your ability. Please avoid chat room abreviations (u instead of you, n for and, etc). We may do minor editing changes to improve readability and correct typos. However, we will not take on the task of a complete editing job.
4. Please send your story in RTF format if possible.
5. A picture is worth a thousand words. While it's not a requirement to include a picture with your story, we ask you to consider the fact that putting a face on a story makes it more personal. If you do include a picture, please send it in JPG format.
